Every provider needs four document types
- Policies: what your organisation commits to and why
- Procedures: step-by-step how each policy works day to day
- Registers: living logs: incidents, complaints, risks, training, conflicts of interest, corrective actions
- Forms & templates: the paperwork of daily delivery: service agreements, consent forms, incident reports, support plans
Verification pathway (lower-risk supports)
You need documentation covering incident management, complaints management, risk management and human resource management, in practice about ten policies and procedures, seven registers and eight forms, including worker screening records and a service agreement. Certification pathway (higher-risk supports)
